Westbury Country Club has closed and Louis Dakil Auctioneers plans to sell it, 167 acres including the 23,558-square-foot clubhouse, Nov. 1.

The property, southwest of SW 15 and Morgan Road, will be offered separately in three parcels: the clubhouse, restaurant and fitness center and acreage; then the front nine holes encompassing 86 acres; then the back nine on 77 acres; then offered as a whole. Real estate will be shown by appointment.

Dakil said potential buyers could be another golf and country club operator, but that the 160-plus acres also could be attractive to a housing developer. He said he previously has sold golf courses that were turned into residential developments, in northwest Oklahoma City near Edmond and in Shawnee.
