Oklahoma County sheriff’s deputies made 24 arrests overnight Saturday during a DUI checkpoint and saturation patrols.
Of those arrests, 19 were on complaints of DUI, and four arrests were made on driving with suspended license complaints. Another arrest was made because of a felony warrant, according to a news release.
During the operation, 123 citations were issued, including 59 seat belt violations, 19 citations to people without driver licenses and 13 citations for a lack of insurance. A total of 47 vehicles were impounded.
The checkpoint, which was in the 300 block of N MacArthur Boulevard, began Saturday night and ended early Sunday.
