An eastern Oklahoma couple faces felony charges after a 7-month-old baby was hospitalized with second-degree burns March 30.
Morgan Crow, 23, of Moffett, and Alexander Turner, 26, of Poteau, were charged Tuesday with child endangerment and child abuse by injury, respectively. Crow was arrested on the complaint March 31, and Turner was arrested April 1, records show.
Around 7:15 p.m. March 30, Sequoyah County sheriff’s deputies were notified the child was admitted to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark., with severe burns on her face and bruises on her arms, legs and feet. The person who reported the incident said Crow was the child’s mother.
