Inmate faces charges in attack

An Oklahoma County jail inmate was charged Tuesday in Oklahoma County District Court with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and possession of contraband in a penal institution. Walter Alonzo Wilbur IV, 25, was charged with the felonies after reportedly attacking another inmate with a razor blade tied to a pencil on March 27, according to the probable cause affidavit. The victim suffered cuts to his chest, neck face and head. The weapon was not recovered, records show.
