Man in wreck was high, police say

Police say a man high on a legalized version of marijuana caused a wreck when he drifted across the centerline of a road and hit another vehicle. Bryce Wayne Brannon, 18, of Del City, was arrested Feb. 12 on complaints of driving under the influence of drugs, failure to keep right of center and failure to show insurance, according to a police report Tuesday. A witness told police Brannon's pickup crossed the centerline and crashed into an oncoming sport utility vehicle on SE 44 just west of Bryant Avenue. Police described Brannon's movements as sluggish and his speech as slurred. He was taken to Southwest Medical Center, where a nurse found an opened packet of Death Grip 2G, a legalized version of marijuana, according to the police report.
