Police release sketch of rapist
Police have released a sketch of a man wanted in the rape of a 62-year-old woman about 1:45 a.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of NW 21. The woman told police a man had broken into her home and raped her. She was taken to Midwest City Hospital where she was treated and released. The man is described as a black male in his 20s, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He has short black hair and light brown eyes. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers at 235-7300.

Police sting nets
four arrests
Police said they arrested three adults and a juvenile in a prostitution sting Tuesday. Kristian Gers, 17, was arrested on complaints of Internet prostitution and offering to engage in prostitution. Philip Bush Gaston, 22, and Kennedy Michelle Shearer, 19, were arrested on complaints of conspiracy to commit a felony of human trafficking and aiding in prostitution. Overton Leroy Wilson, 19, was arrested on complaints of conspiracy to commit a felony of human trafficking, human trafficking a minor, possession of marijuana and false impersonation. The sting took place at the Motel 6, 820 S Meridian Ave., after vice officers made contact with a person who agreed to meet for sexual contact in exchange for $200, according to the incident report. Gers was taken to the Berry House. Gaston, Wilson and Shearer were taken to the Oklahoma County jail. Bail was set at $103,275 for Wilson, $52,500 for Gatson and $50,500 for Shearer.

Boy's dad faces abuse charges
The father of a teen with welts on his shoulders, legs, arms, back and buttocks was arrested on complaints of child abuse and domestic violence, Oklahoma City police reported Wednesday. Police responded to a disturbance about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 3200 block of SE 57 and found a 13-year-old in his underwear, crying and standing by the street, according to the incident report. Larry B. Smith, 50, told police he had been spanking his son because he found pornographic images on the teen's phone and that all the minutes on his son's phone were used, according to the report. Officers noted the 13-year-old had blood splattered from his nose, according to the report. The boy was taken to a hospital. Smith was taken to the Oklahoma County jail, where he was being held without bail.
