Police say the man shot and killed Tuesday in south Oklahoma City has been identified as Justin Lamont Williams, 24. Shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a shooting and collision at Interstate 240 and S Walker Avenue, police Master Sgt. Gary Knight. Investigators think Williams was shot in the parking lot of the Windsong Village Apartments, 7255 S Walker Ave., and then drove south until crashing into a pickup in the 7400 block of S Walker. He was found dead in the car. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide tip-line at 297-1200.

Police say a 54-year-old woman is hospitalized after being shot by an officer. Sheila Ann Wright was shot at least twice Wednesday and is hospitalized in unknown condition, police said. Officer Leland Ashley told reporters the incident began about 7 a.m. when a homeowner called police and said a woman had kicked in the front door of the home and was outside with a weapon. Ashley said the woman drove away when officers arrived. She stopped at one point and the officers felt threatened and opened fire. Ashley said the woman then drove to a nearby home where she was eventually taken into custody. Other details and the names of the officers were not immediately released. Ashley said both officers involved are on paid leave.
