Teen arrested in stabbing death

Sheriff's deputies arrested a teenager Thursday on a murder complaint in the Saturday night stabbing death of an Oklahoma City man. Armando Daniel Hernandez, 17, was arrested by sheriff's deputies who spotted him walking in the 3900 block of SW 25. Casey Wright, 19, was stabbed about 11:30 p.m. Saturday during a fight at an apartment complex in the 5700 block of S Agnew. Witnesses reported two groups of people fighting before Wright was stabbed. Hernandez was identified as one of the men fighting with Wright, police and court documents show.

Bank robbery suspect is arrested

A man accused of robbing a southwest Oklahoma City bank Thursday afternoon was arrested by police just after it occurred, according to the FBI. Joshua Antonio McClendon, 27, was taken into custody without incident in the 7000 block of SW 28, Special Agent Ricky Rains said. McClendon is accused of robbing the First Fidelity Bank, 700 SW 29. Witnesses said a man armed with a handgun entered the bank, backed employees against the wall and hopped over the teller counter. He took money from two teller stations and placed it in a shopping bag, then left the bank on foot, Rains said. A large amount of money was found on McClendon during his arrest, Rains said.

Reward set in 2007 cold case

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is offering a $5,000 reward in a 2007 shooting death case. Jasmon Howell, 24, was shot multiple times Sept. 17, 2007, while sitting in his car in the 1900 block of Hillcrest in Idabel. The reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever was involved. Anyone with information can call the OSBI hotline at (800) 522-8017.
