Access Midstream Partners LP
Access Midstream Partners LP on Tuesday announced net income of $67.5 million, or 18 cents per limited partner unit, for the second quarter. That is down slightly from $69.2 million, or 18 cents per unit, for the same period of last year. CEO Mike Stice said it was another strong quarter for Access, whose general partner recently was acquired by the Williams Cos. Inc. “The business continues to perform well as producers maintain their focus on the highly prolific unconventional basins we serve,” Stice said. “We expect focused execution of our business model to continue to deliver strong returns for our investors in 2014.” Access could be merged with Williams Partners, if the board of both companies approve the move proposed by parent company Williams.
