Oklahoma elections: Newcomer, incumbents win House seats
One newcomer and four incumbents won House seats Tuesday. Incumbents fared well in races that sent them to the general election.
One newcomer and four incumbents won state House seats in Tuesday's primary elections.
The primary was the only race they had to win because no one from an opposing party filed for those seats.

The lone newcomer elected Tuesday was Republican David Brumbaugh in House District 76 in Broken Arrow. He replaces term-limited Rep. John Wright, R-Broken Arrow.
Another Republican newcomer is guaranteed to win the House District 100 seat in northwest Oklahoma City in a runoff next month. Voters there will choose between Elise Hall and David Looby.
Both candidates said they want to eliminate “waste” in government spending.
