Investigation Discovery is featuring the story of Oklahoma ex-fugitive Scott Eizember on its “I (Almost) Got Away with It” series at 9 p.m. tonight.

After Eizember’s girlfriend left him, he sought revenge with a violent spree that included attacking her family, murdering her neighbors, kidnapping an Arkansas couple, and then, after getting injured during the pursuit,  continuing the rampage to exact vengeance on his ex, according to a news release.

The episode includes an interview with Eizember from behind bars, as well as an interview with his ex-girlfriend Kathy Smith, her son Tyler Montgomery and her parents, John and Karla Wright, all of Depew.

Other interviewees in the spotlight are Debra Cantrell-Wyatt, daughter of
Eizember’s murder victims A.J. and Patsy Cantrell of Depew; kidnapping victim Sam Peebles of Nashville, AR; Capt. John Davis of the Creek County Sheriff’s Department; and prosecutor Mike Loeffler.
