NORMAN — Oklahoma tumbled 10 spots in both the coaches’ and Associated Press top 25 polls, to No. 15 and 16, respectively, following its 24-19 home loss to Kansas State on Saturday.

Oklahoma State was off this weekend, but still jumped three spots from No. 25 to No. 22 in the latest coaches’ poll. The Cowboys remained unranked in the AP poll.

OSU hosts Texas, ranked No. 12 by the AP and No. 10 by the coaches, on Saturday.

Kansas State, meanwhile, jumped eight spots to No. 7 and is now the Big 12 highest-ranked team according to the AP. In the coaches’ poll, the Wildcats are ranked eighth and one spot behind No. 7 West Virginia.

Alabama remained the top-ranked team in both polls, but LSU dropped one spot to No. 3 in each after its closer-than-expected 12-10 win over Auburn.

Oregon moved into the each poll’s No. 2 spot after its 49-0 rout of Arizona, which fell completely out of both polls.

The Wildcats had entered the rankings by beating Oklahoma State at home two weeks ago.
