SEATTLEUniversity of Washington football fan Rick Bearbower walked into Louie's on OU's Campus Corner two Septembers ago. Every seat was filled.

Sooner fan Richard Wells stood up, offered his chair to the visitor and bought the Husky fan a drink.

"Best beer I ever bought,” Wells said.

That hospitality was repaid in full Saturday, when the Sooners visited the Pacific Northwest.

Bearbower called Wells and offered a spot aboard his friend's boat for the most unique tailgating experience in college football.

Lake Washington, which sits hard on the east end of Husky Stadium, is filled every game day with a fleet of UW fans who boat to the games.
