Graduation dinner at The Coach House

The Coach House, 6437 Avondale Drive, is hosting a pair of graduation dinners for chef Caleb Byers at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 27 and 28.
The event serves as the culmination of his two-plus years in The Coach House Apprenticeship Program. Byers is responsible for all aspects of the execution of this dinner, from conception to preparation to presentation.
He will be presented with a custom-made chef's coat and a set of chef's knives.
Cost is $90, including dinner and wine. For reservations, call 842-1000.
Chocolate Festival tickets available
NORMAN — Tickets are on sale for the 31st anniversary annual Chocolate Festival, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 2 at the National Center for Employee Development Conference Center, 2801 State Highway 9 E.
Vendors will offer thousands of samples of chocolate-inspired delights with proceeds supporting Firehouse Art Center art education programs. Tickets are available online at normanfirehouse.com. Premiere tickets include 15 samples for $40; standard tickets include 10 samples for $25. After Jan. 23, tickets will only be available in person, by phone at the Firehouse Art Center or at the door the day of the event. For more information, call 329-4523.
