Chocolate Festival tickets available

— Tickets are on sale for the 31st anniversary annual Chocolate Festival, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 2 at the National Center for Employee Development Conference Center, 2801 State Highway 9 E.

Vendors will offer thousands of samples of chocolate-inspired delights with proceeds supporting Firehouse Art Center art education programs. Tickets are available online at normanfirehouse.com. Premiere tickets include 15 samples for $40; standard tickets include 10 samples for $25. After Wednesday, tickets will only be available in person, by phone at the Firehouse Art Center or at the door the day of the event. For more information, call 329-4523.

Chocolate Decadence returns

Historic Automobile Alley will host the 16th annual Chocolate Decadence from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Hudson-Essex Loft Offices, 825 N Broadway Ave.

The party showcases decadent chocolate treats from premier local restaurants and caterers while featuring smooth jazz, wine and Champagne, gourmet coffees and a Valentine auction.

Get THE Taste of Oklahoma City

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma will host its annual fundraiser, THE Taste of Oklahoma City, at 7 p.m. Feb. 9 in the Renaissance Ballroom of the Cox Convention Center.

The event will feature samplings from 30 of Oklahoma City's finest restaurants, a live and silent auction, dancing, and more. Proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma's one-to-one mentoring programs.

Corporate sponsorships and group tables start at $1,500. Individual tickets cost $150 per person (or $250 per couple).
