Chuy's holds Elvis Presley party

— Chuy's Fine Tex-Mex Cafe, 760 N Interstate Drive, will celebrate its annual Elvis Birthday Bash to kick off 2014 all day Wednesday. The event will include specials, giveaways and a live performance of the King's hits from a local Elvis tribute artist from 6 to 8 p.m.

Guests who come dressed as Elvis or Priscilla Presley will get a free entree. Chuy's will serve free birthday cake while supplies last and give away Elvis-themed temporary tattoos and a souvenir cup, available with purchase of a margarita or Blue Hawaiian. Limited-edition Elvis and Priscilla T-shirts will be on sale.

‘The King'

Opus Prime Steakhouse will host a special wine dinner with a guest of honor familiar to OU football fans at 7 p.m. Jan. 16.

Former University of Oklahoma head football coach Barry Switzer will be on hand to talk about Switzer Family Vineyards during the four-course meal paired with Switzer's Cabernet Sauvignon, Ghost Block Morgaenlee Sauvignon Blanc, Elizabeth Rose Pinot Noir and Oakville Winery Zinfandel.
