NORMAN — Oklahoma is chasing lots of top wide receiver prospects for next year's recruiting class. Four-star wideout Dallis Todd, from La Mirada, Calif., is currently the Sooners' only 2014 commitment at the position.
Here's a look at five other 2014 wide receivers the Sooners are targeting:
Ht., Wt.: 5-10, 163 pounds
School: Mount Pleasant (Texas) HS
Analysis: Oklahoma was this four-star prospect's first scholarship offer last summer, and the Sooners remain high on his list. He's also got offers from Clemson, Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas A&M, among others.
Ht., Wt.: 6-6, 225 pounds
School: Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, Ariz.)
Analysis: Andrews, a four-star prospect, is ranked by Rivals as the ninth-best receiver in the 2014 recruiting class. Other top offers include Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, USC and Texas A&M. His brother is an OU medical school student.
Ht., Wt.: 6-0, 174 pounds
School: Texas City (Texas) HS
Analysis: Foreman committed to Oklahoma in October, but de-committed in April. The four-star prospect has reportedly not eliminated the Sooners from consideration, though. Some of his other top offers include Baylor, Florida, Oregon, Texas and Texas A&M.
Ht., Wt.: 6-4, 200 pounds
School: Longview (Texas) HS
Analysis: OU assistant Jay Norvell has established a strong relationship with Leonard, the three-star prospect who also holds offers from Florida State, Oregon State, Texas and Texas Tech.
Ht., Wt.: 6-5, 179 pounds
School: Tulsa Union
Analysis: Mead remains a raw prospect and had flown under the radar until recently. He's also got offers from Arkansas, Clemson, LSU, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M.
