Oklahoma football: A look at what state Sooner quarterbacks hail from

We've divided the Sooners' 55 starting quarterbacks since 1946 — the first OU's offense included a defined “quarterback” position — by their home states.

NORMAN — When Oklahoma opens its 2013 season next Saturday against Louisiana-Monroe, redshirt freshman Trevor Knight will become the Sooners' 16th starting quarterback from the state of Texas since 1946.

With the help of OU football historian Mike Brooks, we've divided the Sooners' 55 starting quarterbacks since that year — the first OU's offense included a defined “quarterback” position — by their home states.
