ABC's crew of Brad Nessler, Todd Blackledge and reporter Holly Rowe will call the OU-Texas game for the second time in three years. The crew also called OU's 28-20 victory over Texas in 2010. Blackledge is a former Penn State and NFL quarterback.
Brent Musburger, Kirk Herbstreit and Erin Andrews called the game last year.
ABC will nationally televise the game at 11 a.m. KOCO-5 will air a pregame show at 10 a.m. and a postgame show at 2:30 p.m. on its digital channel 5.2 (Cox 222).
* FSOK's “Red River Rivalry” preview will be repeated at 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. Friday.
* OSU also will have a nationally televised game Saturday when it travels to Kansas at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Joel Meyers, Brian Baldinger and Jim Knox will call the FSN game.
* ESPN Films' “30 for 30” series will premiere “There's No Place Like Home” at 7 p.m. Tuesday on ESPN. The film follows University of Kansas superfan Josh Swade on his quest to win at auction one of the most important documents in sports history — James Naismith's original rules of basketball — and bring them “home” to Lawrence, Kan., where Naismith coached and taught for more than 40 years. After reading an article that Naismith's original rules of basketball were to be auctioned off Dec. 10, 2010, Swade set out on a journey to raise more than $1 million in three weeks.
