Scouting Louisiana Tech

Last year’s record: 4-8, 3-5 in Conference USA

Best player: Junior running back Kenneth Dixon has rushed for 2,111 yards and 31 touchdowns in two seasons with the Bulldogs. He set an NCAA record for freshmen with his 27 rushing touchdowns in 2012.

The case for Louisiana Tech: The Bulldogs are well-coached under Skip Holtz, and anything can happen if a heavily-favored team like Oklahoma gets complacent.

The case for Oklahoma: The Sooners have the overwhelming talent advantage and are playing at home. An Oklahoma loss on Saturday would be cataclysmic.
