Oklahoma football: K-State's Bill Snyder says his players were confident before game vs. Sooners
Here is a look at what players and coaches were saying after Kansas State's 24-19 win over Oklahoma:
* Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops, on his team's attitude entering Saturday's game:
“The players' attitude has been good. There's no excuses about it. We have to do a better job as coaches to polish things and get things to be sharper and more precise.”
* OU senior quarterback Landry Jones, on his performance:
“There's a lot of different plays out there that I didn't make, that I need to make for us to be successful. ... It's extremely frustrating.”
* Kansas State coach Bill Snyder on the win:
“All wins are important, and when you play somebody as good as Oklahoma it means something special. But it's not like our players have never been there before. They had confidence going into the ballgame.”
* K-State linebacker Justin Tuggle on his forced fumble of Jones, which led to KSU's first touchdown:
“We talked all week that if we could put points on the board it would be a big factor to us winning the game. I came off the edge to sack Landry and the ball popped out and Jarell (Childs) jumped on it.”
