This will be Landry Jones' final chance at Bedlam history.

And that's important because Jones' Bedlam history isn't exactly one for the books.

The Oklahoma quarterback is coming into Bedlam off one of his best performances as a Sooner. But unlike the man who came before him, the one who earned his Heisman moment in a Bedlam game, Jones is known for one thing in his Bedlam history: interceptions.

He's thrown more interceptions (five) than touchdowns (four) in three games against Oklahoma State. He's gone touchdown-less in two games. When he did find the end zone in the 2010 game, he threw four total touchdowns, two of which came within 92 seconds of each other in the fourth quarter. But he also lofted three interceptions.

If Jones doesn't control his interceptions Saturday night, this game could squash Oklahoma's BCS hopes and once again give OSU state bragging rights.

It also could leave him with an empty Bedlam frame on his metaphorical wall of “Landry's Oklahoma history.”

When fans point to Sam Bradford's greatest moment in Bedlam, they point to a moment titled on YouTube as “Sam Bradford's Heisman Moment” — when he was launched into the air by an Oklahoma State defender a yard short of the goal line in 2008.

When Oklahoma fans point to Landry Jones' biggest moments in Bedlam, they go back to the play in 2010 when he tried to throw the ball out of bounds and instead got intercepted.

When the TV announcers began their show last year, they talked about Jones' four-touchdown performance in 2010 and mentioned the interceptions.

Then Jones went out in 2011 and had a two-interception, zero-touchdown performance.

“It's just kind of Oklahoma State,” Jones said about his history. “Yeah, maybe I haven't played well in those games, but I don't know if it's necessarily the high of that game or anything like that. I think it's just going out there trying to execute plays and playing at the best of your abilities.”
