“Yeah; he needs to keep getting the ball more,” Williams said. “Definitely. That's something we want to do.”

BIG 12 ANNOUNCES KICKOFF TIME FOR OU-TEXAS TECH

Oklahoma's Oct. 6 game at Texas Tech will kick off at 2:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2, the Big 12 Conference announced Monday.

The network designation will be announced at a later date.

The Sooners (2-1 overall, 0-1 Big 12) are entering a bye week following their 24-19 home loss to Kansas State last weekend. Texas Tech opens its conference slate Saturday at Iowa State.

“What are we going to do? How are we going to respond to being hit in the face? Are we going to just sit there and take it and continue to lose to Tech and Texas and Notre Dame coming up? Or are we going to come out with a mentality like we have to get ourselves together?”
