Landry Jones on Justin Brown's 35-yard touchdown catch in the final seconds of the first half:

“The ball, it just kind of came in sidewards on him. He just did a great job. That was just a great play by him and not a good throw by me. It got caught up in the wind a little bit and it got pushed, but I've just got to realize that and deal with it. If I threw it more on the line, it'd be an easier play for him.”

Senior defensive lineman David King on OU's run defense:

“It's unacceptable to give up that many rushing yards. Coach Mike Stoops said that in our defensive meeting after the game.”

OU coach Bob Stoops, on passing Bud Wilkinson's career win total:

“I keep saying, and it's worth saying it again, I've just been incredibly fortunate to work in such a great place with great people.”
