COLVIN'S RETURN ‘CRITICAL'
Defensive coordinator Mike Stoops said Aaron Colvin's decision to return for his senior season was “critical.”
“Aaron is a very complete player,” Mike Stoops said. “He has the intensity, the focus and the drive. He's here for a purpose — he wants to be a first-round draft pick. He sets the tone for our whole defense.”
Colvin considered joining classmates Tony Jefferson, Kenny Stills and Tom Wort in the 2013 NFL Draft.
He recorded 52 tackles, two sacks, four interceptions and four pass breakups during his junior season, and was a first-team All-Big 12 selection.
