After the game, Stoops praised the offensive line on the whole and Farniok in particular.
COWBOYS FANS PELT SOONERS
After Eric Striker's 3-yard fumble return for a touchdown on the game's final play, the Sooners ran into the end zone in front of the OSU student section to celebrate.
The Sooners were pelted with quite a few snowballs from the stands as they celebrated.
“Yeah I got hit with two,” Sooners nickelback Julian Wilson said. “But hey, what are they going to be mad about?”
Wilson said the snowballs hit him in the helmet.
BARNETT COMES UP BIG
For much of the first half, there was no doubt who the Sooners' most valuable player was — punter Jed Barnett.
Barnett twice pinned the Cowboys at the 1 and wound up pinning OSU inside the 20 three times.
“I try not to think of it any different if I'm going into a preseason game or going into now, but it's definitely something that's in the back of your head,” Barnett said of his role being magnified with the weather conditions what they were.
