Could Oklahoma reel in a late commitment from four-star cornerback Kendall Randolph?
The Tallahassee, Fla., prospect, who holds offers from dozens of programs including Alabama, Auburn and Florida State, tweeted Saturday night that he'd just gotten off the phone with Sooner cornerbacks coach Bobby Jack Wright.
Randolph told Rivals.com a couple weeks ago that Louisville was atop his list because of his relationship with the coaching staff, but that could all change with Sunday's announcement that Charlie Strong will replace Mack Brown as Texas' head coach.
Sunday afternoon, Randolph tweeted, “Charlie Strong to Texas.. Haaaa.”
STOOPS TOUTS D-LINEMEN
Before the season, the defensive line was without question Oklahoma's biggest area of concern.
The Sooners lost virtually every major contributor from the 2012 squad's unit, and appeared thin and inexperienced entering 2013.
The morning after Oklahoma's 45-31 Sugar Bowl victory over Alabama, coach Bob Stoops made sure to point out the impact his defensive line had.
“I was angry when I heard we didn't have any D-lineman,” Stoops said. “I said last night to Geneo (Grissom), ‘I'm looking at 12 of you guys right here. You are good-looking guys. How come we don't have anybody?'
