OU defensive back Javon Harris on his run to the end zone:

“Once I knew I was in and I knew no one was going to catch me from behind, there was a little swagger in there.

OU defensive coordinator Mike Stoops on Sooners DB Aaron Colvin:

“He's got that ‘it' factor. He shows up every game and is ready to play.”

Texas Tech's Sadale Foster on difficulties of the first half:

“Third down conversions ... It starts with the running game and protecting Doege so he can get the ball off faster.”

OU offensive lineman Gabe Ikard on quarterback Landry Jones:

“He made some throws, some perfect throws. You just wanted to stop and watch. He just put them right on the money today.”

Mike Stoops on the difference of a year:

“We got beat on a lot of vertical passes a year ago, and we didn't want to give up big vertical throws today. Our containment overall today was pretty good in the secondary.”
