Oklahoma commitment list

Player, Pos., Ht., Wt., Hometown (School)

Dominique Alexander, Ath., 6-2, 195, Tulsa Washington

Alexander has played at every level of defense, from defensive end to linebacker to safety. For the Sooners, he's likely to at least start out at linebacker.

*Jed Barnett, P, 6-2, 215, Camas, Wash. (Laney CC)

Originally signed with Cal out of high school, Barnett could see immediate playing time.

Austin Bennett, WR, 6-0, 170, Manvel, Texas

Bennett's stats weren't overwhelming as Manvel used a run-heavy offense but Bennett showed big-time playmaking ability.

Hatari Byrd, S, 6-1, 190, Fresno, Calif. (Central East)

The big hitter figures to have the chance to make an immediate impact in Norman.

Christian Daimler, OL, 6-6, 270, Houston (Stratford)

Daimler decommitted from Arizona State before taking the Sooners up on their offer.

Matt Dimon, DE, 6-2, 252, Katy, Texas

A positive junior day experience in March led Dimon to commit less than two weeks later.

Jordan Evans, LB, 6-3, 205, Norman North

The son of former Sooner defensive lineman Scott Evans, Jordan committed to the Sooners not long after receiving the offer in late November.

Keith Ford, RB, 5-11, 195, Cypress, Texas (Cypress Ranch)

Ford showed his explosiveness in the Under Armour All-American game with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Kerrick Huggins, DT, 6-4, 283, Dallas (Skyline)

Huggins was committed to Texas A&M before flipping to the Sooners in December.
