Manning (6-foot-2, 275 pounds) has long had the Sooners near the top of his list. His brother, DeMarcus Granger, played for the Sooners from 2006-2009.

The Sooners did make his final three, joining Texas A&M and TCU.

Manning's Dallas Kimball team beat Dallas Adams 38-13 to advance in Texas' Class 4A Division I playoffs.

Kimball will play Frisco Centennial on Friday.

MASTROGIOVANNI SHOWS OFF ON OFFENSE

Sooners linebacker commitment Jordan Mastrogiovanni of Dallas Jesuit has mostly stuck with defense during his senior year.

Friday night, though, against McKinney Boyd, Mastrogiovanni showed off on offense.

Mastrogiovanni scored a pair of receiving touchdowns in a 45-10 Jesuit win.

Mastrogiovanni took a visit recently to Texas A&M but remains committed to the Sooners. He's expected to be in Norman for Saturday's Bedlam game if Jesuit's playoff draw doesn't prevent that.
