Broken Arrow junior running back Devon Thomas, whose offers include one from the Sooners, is expected back next week as the Tigers open district play.
Thomas has missed the first three games for unspecified noninjury reasons.
Broken Arrow coach Steve Spavital told the Tulsa World on Friday night that Thomas should be back.
Thomas ran for 1,840 yards and 22 touchdowns as a sophomore.
JENKS SAFETY STEVEN PARKER PICKS UP ALABAMA OFFER
Another 2014 in-state standout with an Oklahoma offer had his profile continue to rise this week.
Jenks safety Steven Parker, who has offers from Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, added a third when Alabama made an offer last week.
Parker had an interception in Jenks' 20-7 win over Owasso on Friday night.
Jenks teammate and Sooners commit Jordan Smallwood missed his second consecutive game for the Trojans.
Parker is one of three in-state players with Sooners offers, joined by Thomas and Douglass' Deondre Clark.
HARDING ADDS OFFER
Edmond Santa Fe safety Khari Harding's offer list continues to grow.
Harding picked up an offer from Washington State on Saturday. Former OU receiver Jarrail Jackson is recruiting Harding. Jackson joined the WSU staff during the summer in an off-field recruiting position under Mike Leach, who was OU's offensive coordinator during Jackson's time in Norman.
