Oklahoma football recruiting notebook: CB Cole Luke, LB E.J. Levenberry among visitors for OU-Notre Dame

Saturday's game drew a lot of visitors, including several who were committed elsewhere, along with quite a few juniors, including offensive tackle Braden Smith and quarterback Justice Hansen.

It's no surprise that Oklahoma's Saturday night game against Notre Dame drew a large number of visitors.

Among the large group expected was Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton cornerback Cole Luke.

The 6-foot, 165-pound Luke has offers from a large group of schools from across the country, including OU, Notre Dame, Oregon State, Arkansas, Michigan, Nebraska and Texas among others.

He took a visit to Notre Dame on Sept. 21 and visited Austin in early October.

The Sooners also had a few visitors who are committed elsewhere, including Woodbridge (Va.) C.D. Hylton linebacker E.J. Levenberry, who is committed to Florida State, and Tulsa Washington's Dominique Alexander, who is committed to Arkansas.

Norman's Zach Uhles, who is committed to Tulsa, was also among the visitors.

There were also quite a few junior visitors, led by Olathe (Kan.) South offensive tackle Braden Smith.

Smith has offers from both Oklahoma and Notre Dame, as well as Michigan, Kansas State, Nebraska, South Carolina and Texas among others.

Also among junior visitors were Edmond Santa Fe quarterback Justice Hansen, Keller (Texas) Timber Creek cornerback Cedric Dale and Dallas Skyline offensive tackle Ty Barrett.

Barrett's offers include Ole Miss, Texas Tech and West Virginia.
