Former OU quarterback Sam Braford went down with a serious knee injury on Sunday, which has been reported as a torn ACL by the team.
Before his injury, Bradford was off to his best start as a professional in 2013. Bradford is the most successful quarterback to come out of the 2010 NFL Draft. You could make a case for Tim Tebow, but Bradford’s still a starter. The rest of the list is Bradford and the backups.
Quarterbacks selected in the 2010 NFL Draft (round, draft position overall)
Sam Bradford (1/1), Tim Tebow (1/25), Jimmy Clausen (2/48), Colt McCoy (3/85), Mike Kafka (4/122), John Skelton (5/155), Jonathan Crompton (5/168), Rusty Smith (6/176), Dan LeFevour (6/181), Joe Webb (6/199), Tony Pike (6/204), Levi Brown (7/209), Sean Canfield (7/239), Zac Robinson (7/250).
Bradford is the only one of the 14 quarterbacks selected from the 2010 draft to consistently keep a starting spot. He’s also working with the youngest team in the league for the second season in a row.
A revolving door on the offensive line/coaching staff/receiving corps has put Bradford in a tough spot, but his future is in even more serious doubt now because of his knee. Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com says there’s uncertainty, but the Rams don’t have to make a decision on Bradford immediately.
SI.com’s Doug Farrar says Bradford’s injury could be franchise defining for the Rams.
Bradford’s Class of 2010 mate Tim Tebow is not an option for the Rams according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Bryan Burwell of the Post-Dispatch says those who think the Rams’ offense will get better without Bradford are “certifiable fools.”
Bleacher Report enlisted Dave Siebert, MD as a feature columnist to break down Bradford’s injury and his road to recovery.
The Rams are expected to work out several quarterbacks today, says Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com.
Cindy Boren of Washington Post: Bradford’s injury was just a small sample of a brutal Sunday in the NFL.
Michael Silver of NFL.com asks where do the Rams and Bears go from here after significant quarterback injuries.

Fair to wonder if Sam Bradford has played last snap with #Rams. Owed huge base salary in ’14. STL ticketed for 2 potential Top 15 picks.
