NORMAN — Oklahoma’s recruiting momentum continued Wednesday when defensive end Kenneth Mann committed to the Sooners.
OU has now received two defensive line commitments in three days and picked up five overall commitments in the past two months.
Mann (6-foot-4, 240 pounds) is rated as a two-star recruit by Rivals.com and had offers that included Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Iowa, Wake Forest and Cal among others.
The commitment was first reported by TheFootballBrainiacs.com.
The Burleson, Texas, product received an offer from the Sooners last week and committed during a visit to Norman.
Mann is the Sooners’ ninth commitment overall, the third on the defensive line and the sixth from Texas.
Tyrell Jacobs, who is likely to play defensive end in college, committed to the Sooners on Monday.
Mann’s commitment is non-binding. He can sign beginning Feb. 4.
