Oklahoma football: Sooners hold Texas Tech well below season rushing marks

Here is a look at Oklahoma's 38-30 win over Texas Tech by the numbers:

1: Turnover for Oklahoma.

3: Turnovers for Texas Tech, including two grabbed by OU's Aaron Colvin who intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble.


16: Plays on Oklahoma's first scoring drive, a season long. Also season longs were the drive's yardage (97) and time (7:36).

72: Yards rushing for Texas Tech, which entered the game averaging 131.7 yards per game.

78: Career catches for Sterling Shepard, who passed his father, the late Derrick Shepard, in the Sooner record books. Derrick had 76 career catches.

153: Yards receiving for Jalen Saunders, the most by a Sooner receiver this season. It was only the third time that an OU pass catcher went over 100 yards in a game.
