Oklahoma football: Sooners likely headed to Sugar Bowl or Fiesta Bowl

OU's bowl possibilities crystallized after a 24-17 victory over TCU. The official announcement will be made Sunday:

SUGAR BOWL

Jan. 2 in New Orleans

The Sooners seem a cinch to be an at-large selection to the BCS, almost surely the Sugar Bowl against Florida. The Sugar gets the first and third picks in the selection process. The Fiesta gets the second pick and is expected to take Oregon to play the Big 12 champion.

FIESTA BOWL

Jan. 3 in Glendale, Ariz.

A Texas victory over Kansas State on Saturday night would hand the Sooners the outright Big 12 championship and send OU to the Fiesta, unless the Fiesta and Sugar brokered an unlikely deal to swap teams.
