Oklahoma football: Sooners might change defensive look against Wildcats

Kansas State will dictate whether linebacker Joseph Ibiloye sees more field time than defensive back Gabe Lynn

Junior receiver and Jenks native Tramaine Thompson caught five passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns Saturday.

“I think it is a really big game nationally, especially because we are going down to Norman where OU rarely loses,” Lockett said after Saturday's game. “We have got to give it all we have got all of next week so we can get ourselves prepared to execute next weekend against OU.”

‘WAIT AND SEE' ON K-STATE'S BROWN

Kansas State senior Arthur Brown, an All-Big 12 linebacker, went down early in Saturday's game with an ankle injury. He sat out for a while before returning and leading the Wildcats with 13 tackles.

“We'll have to wait and see,” coach Bill Snyder said after the game when asked about Brown's status. “It's going to be a couple of days before we know for sure.”

Brown played his first two seasons at Miami (Fla.) before transferring to Kansas State. Last year, he led the team with 101 tackles.
