Oklahoma football: Texas A&M's road to the Cotton Bowl
Here is a look at the 2012 season of the Texas A&M football team:
SEPT. 8 — LOST 20-17 VS. NO. 24 FLORIDA
TAMU led 17-7 midway through the second quarter, but was unable score after halftime. Florida rallied to spoil the Aggies' first SEC game and Johnny Manziel's first career start.

Sept. 15 — Won 48-3 at SMU
Manziel accounted for six total touchdowns (four passing, two rushing) and 418 total yards.
Sept. 22 — Won 70-14 vs. South Carolina State
Texas A&M scored 49 first-half points, including 35 in the second quarter alone. Manziel scored five first-half touchdowns.
Sept. 29 — Won 58-10 vs. Arkansas
Arkansas led 10-7 after the first, but the Aggies scored 20, 17 and 14 points in the remaining quarters to run away with their first-ever SEC win. Manziel threw for 453 yards and three touchdowns, and rushed for 104 and another score.
Oct. 6 — Won 30-27 at Ole Miss
Ole Miss led by 10 in the fourth quarter before Manziel led Texas A&M on two late scoring drives; he threw a 20-yard touchdown to Ryan Swope with 1:46 for the Aggies' go-ahead score.
Oct. 13 — Won 59-57 at No. 23 Louisiana Tech
Manziel accounted for six touchdowns, including two in the fourth quarter that helped Texas A&M fend off a massive comeback effort. Louisiana Tech scored 27 points in the fourth quarter, but came up just short.
Oct. 20 — Lost 24-19 vs. No. 6 LSU
Texas A&M led 12-0 midway through the second quarter, but LSU's defense held Manziel and the Aggie offense in check for most of the rest of the game. The freshman quarterback threw three interceptions and didn't score any touchdowns.
