Here is how our crew picked Saturday's game between OU and Notre Dame:

RYAN ABER, OU beat writer

* OU 27, Notre Dame 21: Had picked Notre Dame in this one until two weeks ago, when the Sooners offense got untracked against Tulsa and the Irish struggled against a bad Purdue team.

JENNI CARLSON, Columnist

* OU 24, Notre Dame 17: This will be an old-timey game. Low scoring. Physical. But OU's ability to run well and pass well gives the Sooners the edge.

JASON KERSEY, OU beat writer

* OU 28, Notre Dame 21: Blake Bell struggles a bit early, but finds his groove in the second half, leads the Sooners to a tough road win and firmly establishes himself as the Sooners' starting quarterback for the next two seasons.

BERRY TRAMEL, Columnist

* Notre Dame 20, OU 18: Fool me nine times, shame on you. Fool me 10 times...
