Oklahoma football: Three questions with receiver Durron Neal

by Jason Kersey Published: April 13, 2013

When the quarterbacks are more mobile, what does that change for you as receivers?

It don't change a lot. It's just making us go the full play, not take plays off. ... You know, some plays, like with Landry last year, with him not scrambling, guys ran their routes and just stood there. Now with the running quarterbacks, we got a chance to keep the play alive and make big yardage where we can get closer to score.

How do you assess the quarterbacks' performance in the spring game?

Overall, I think they showed good things. We showed things we can work on, but overall, all three of them competed, all three of them showed their mobility, and showed they're gonna be tough on a lot of defenses this year.
