NORMAN — Oklahoma linebackers coach Tim Kish enjoys showing his players a side of him they don’t normally see.
“That’s just to get the guys together and do something outside from football and have some fun,” Kish said Thursday. “It’s a close group. They really work hard together, they play hard together, and you’ve gotta have that cohesiveness on defense. That’s all part of developing them as young men and letting them see a part of you that’s different than what they see on the field. I was different yesterday on the bowling alley.”
Kish said he thinks junior walk-on Londell Taylor was the best bowler Wednesday night.
“More or less, it was everybody giving everybody else you-know-what on the lanes,” Kish said.
“There were some bad bowling performances out there, and I was praying that wasn’t gonna be a remnant of our playing on the field.”
