Can the Sooners get more Top 10 team scheduled to play? No more FAMU. Maybe some SEC teams?

That's tough ... if OU had scheduled a top 10 team in place of FAMU, do you think the Sooners would still be unbeaten at this point? I can all but guarantee you that they wouldn't. Playing cupcakes is no fun for fans, and it really isn't fun for anyone, but it allows teams to work out the kinks early without destroying title chances early on.

If something happened to Landry and Bell became the starter, how much different of a team would the Sooners be? And in what ways?

I don't know that it would be all that different, to be honest. OU has a system that they run and they wouldn't change course all that much. But I'm sure there would be some minor tweaks.

How strong is the OU D-line to stop Klein?

I think the line isn't playing bad, but the biggest concern is depth. The younger backups will have to be ready to step up.

Why does Channel 9 always try to make the Oklahoma Connection? Klein-Stoops (a long time ago). Blackmon-OU recruiting, Cam Newton-OU recruiting (the one that got away)?

I can't speak for Channel 9, but in the case of Klein-Stoops, Bob Stoops volunteered that story during his news conference and it was interesting. It's the media's job to tell compelling stories that its viewers/readers are interested in.

How about Mike Stoops as the next head coach for the Dallas Cowboys? Just a thought.

I have no idea how Mike Stoops would fare as an NFL head coach. I've honestly never thought about that before, but it's an interesting idea I suppose.

Rivals had OU ranked as high as no. 5 and now OU has dropped to no. 25. Is there a decline in interest in Oklahoma because of their facilities?

I don't think facilities are the problem. I can't speak for Rivals.com's rankings but I think by the time signing day rolls around, OU will be fine.

Just a uniform observation, but I'm glad OU had not gone to the matte finish helmets. Not a big fan.

You don't see programs like OU mess with uniforms too much, and I think that's a good thing.
