Oklahoma football: What they're saying about the Red River Rivalry uniforms

Gabe Ikard called it “like Christmas morning” for the OU players Monday when the Sooners got a hold of their gold-edition uniforms for the Red River Rivalry game against Texas this weekend.

The buzz on Twitter was mostly positive for the new Nike threads. OU went all out with a trailer on SoonerSports.com and plenty of photos. Going for their fourth consecutive win in the Red River Rivalry, the Sooners’ unis will match the Gold Hat if they win.
