Oklahoma football: What they're saying about the Sooners' 34-19 victory over Kansas

Oklahoma improved to 6-1 and 3-1 in Big 12 Conference play with Saturday's 34-19 win at Kansas.

Here's a look at what coaches and players had to say after the game:

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops, when asked to compare last week's inability to overcome a deficit with this week's better response:

“Really? I mean, we executed better and made plays. I'm just not much on last week.”

Kansas coach Charlie Weis, on special teams:

“I was a little disturbed with a lot of the things about special teams for the day.”

Kansas junior tight end Jimmay Mundine, on the team's self-confidence:

“Every week coming into the game we believe we are going to win, and there's not a single doubt in anyone on the team's mind that we're going to win the game. Obviously we've seen that we can do it; it's just a matter of being more consistent and doing it for 60 minutes.”
