Fourth of July weekend events

LibertyFest, Edmond. Events include:

Concert in the Park, 7:30 p.m. Thursday, outdoors at Mitchell Hall Theatre at University of Central Oklahoma, 100 N University Drive.

Chalk-It-Up chalk drawing contest, 10 a.m. Friday at Festival Marketplace in downtown Edmond.

LibertyFest Parade, 9 a.m. Monday, July 4, downtown Edmond.

LibertyFest ParkFest and Fireworks, 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 4, University of Central Oklahoma.

Bethany Freedom Festival, Eldon Lyon Park in Bethany. Parade is at 10 a.m. Monday, July 4. Carnival runs from 5 p.m. Thursday until evening of July 4. Food and shopping booths, car show, live music, fireworks at dusk.

Kingfisher's Stars and Stripes Celebration, noon Monday, July 4, at Kingfisher Park. Events include patriotic quilt show, carriage and train rides, dunk tank, free swimming noon to 4 p.m., concert at 7:30 p.m., fireworks at dusk.
