Defensive tackle Tyrell Jacobs of Metairie (La.) Rummel High committed to Oklahoma on Monday.

Jacobs posted his commitment on Twitter.

He’s a two-star recruit according to Rivals.com.

Jacobs is the Sooners’ eight commitment from the 2015 class and the second defensive tackle, joining Jenks’ Marquise Overton.

The Sooners signed a pair of players from Louisiana last year, including defensive tackle Courtney Garnett.
