Oklahoma Girl Scouts compete in FIRST LEGO League Robotics State Championships.

— Teams representing the Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma competed in the FIRST LEGO League Robotics State Championships on Dec. 1 at Santa Fe High School.

Six Girl Scout teams competed against others from across the state.

Three of the junior teams earned awards.

Troop 240 of Shawnee won the Synergy and Participation Award.

The Strawberry Kitties of Noble won the Against All Odds Award and the Saber Cubs of Moore won the Spirit Award.

The Senoritas of Awesome from Moore earned 2nd Place in the Innovative Solutions Category.
