Tourney aids Tisdale Foundation

Dr. Michael Kiehn of Orthopedic Associates presented Regina Tisdale with a check for $22,274 to the Wayman Tisdale Foundation on Thursday. The money was raised from the Wayman Tisdale Memorial Golf Tournament, hosted by Orthopedic Associates on June 11. The tournament was at Rose Creek Golf and Country Club in Edmond. The foundation, named for the late college and pro basketball player and jazz musician, helps people who lose a limb and have no insurance to pay for a prosthetic limb. Wayman and Regina Tisdale started the foundation together before his 2009 death from bone cancer at the age of 44. Regina is continuing to help amputees.
