In her State of the State address on Monday, the governor also said she plans to close down the smoking room inside the state Capitol. The room will eventually be transformed into a fitness center, funded by tobacco settlement money.
Fallin says improving the health of Oklahomans is a major goal for the state. Her budget for the upcoming year also calls for financial incentives for schools to serve nutritious foods and promote physical activity for students.
