Oklahoma group helps 70 seized horses find new homes

PAULS VALLEY — Most of the 80-plus horses seized at a ranch east of Pauls Valley have found new homes.

Oklahoma Alliance for Animals held an adoption day for the animals this week, and 70 were placed with new owners, said Ruth Steinberger, the agency’s outreach director.

Many of the adopted horses went to individual families who heard about the horses’ plight and wanted to help, Steinberger said.
